Linking Humanitarian and Development (LHD) Quality Reviews
UNICEF’s commitment to Linking Humanitarian and Development Programming (LHD) calls for its Country Offices in the top 10 humanitarian responses (and any other COs that wish to participate) to review the quality of the programme linkages and assess progress against LHD goals, which include:
-
Building local capacity, including that of individuals and communities, and strengthening or establishing systems from the onset of humanitarian action
-
Improving immediate emergency responses through preparedness as part of country programming
-
Implementing risk-informed programming
-
Working in partnerships to bring additional capabilities and resources to crisis affected countries
This site serves as a hub for the quality reviews from the COs as well as discussion and informational resources on LHD issues.
The next survey will be available in late 2021. Example reports are available now.
